Can anyone think of creative ways to motivate my 54 year old mother to exercise?
I’m really concerned about her health because she lives such a sedentary lifestyle. I know a person has to WANT to exercise in order to make it work long-term. I’ve tried everything. Home exercise programs, Wii fit, videos, etc. She says she doesn’t like classes, but I think it is just an excuse. Any creative ways to influence behavior?

Education is the key. The Dr. Oz show is pretty much exclusively focused on weight loss now (with other topics as well). Get her to watch the show. She’ll enjoy it and it may even motivate her.
